De Bouw is een ode aan het bouwen en al haar facetten binnen een stad. De schermen in de steigerinstallatie tonen beelden van verschillende locaties rondom het Janskerkhof waar gebouwd is of wordt. Dit uit zich in wegafzettingen, neon-hesjes, gereedschap, zandhopen en losse tegels. Samen met het vervormde geluid van bouwplaatsen representeren deze beelden een constante ruimtelijke aanwezigheid waarin er altijd gewerkt wordt aan iets nieuws.

The screens in the scaffolding structure display images from various locations around the Janskerkhof where construction has taken place or is ongoing. This manifests itself in road closures, neon safety vests, tools, piles of sand, and loose paving stones. Together with the distorted sounds of construction sites, these images represent a constant spatial presence in which work is always being done on something new.
